I really need to learn to sew heads on better...
Also I haven't posted anything in, what, a year?

Anyway, over the years I've accumulated a lot of felt. So why waste it? Make a peacock!
I was actually going to make another bird but I didn't have any orange. Then in the middle of this, I realised the peacock eyes had orange in them. Couldn't be bothered shopping so I improvised with some "apricot". I'm glad I'm too lazy to shop.

The hardest part for me? That crest! Argh! I didnt know how to sew it without it looking stupid or bulky. So I bent some bobby pins (or grips or whatever you call them).

Materials: The usual (felt, stuffing, thread) + 3 bobby pins (or grips or whatever you call them).
Height: bird and crest are 14.5 cm. Bird to tip of tail is about 18cm.
Length: Tail diameter (?) is about 27.5 cm

Started on the 5th, finished last night (15th).
